Thanksgiving was great! Mom's turkey and stuffing can't be beat... after the pumpkin pie came the news that my sister's having another baby! Fantastic!

The day after Thanksgiving we put up our tree... it's lovely. I can't wait for Christmas.

Next weekend is the final weekend of classes this term at St. Kate's. I am looking forward to a break. I have a final project to present in macro and a final test in accounting... and can put it all behind me... until the 5th of January when the madness begins again... I'm going to be in school forever! Dylan is getting to know his Grandma very well...

I have decided I need a vacation. I need to go somewhere... other than here... I've spent the last 10 years of my life between the UK and MN and now it's time to see a new place... Bring on the Grand Canyon and Old Faithful... I'd love to see the giant redwoods... or even the Gulf of Mexico... not sure where to start... but next summer... we're going somewhere...

But until then... it's back to the laundry pile...

And it begins...

We all have to start somewhere... so today, the day before Thanksgiving 2006, I will begin.

Dylan received a lovely package from Auntie Mo today... he was so excited about his cape and wizard hat... and Superman too... (the crazy thing... when I said we had to go to the post office to pick up a package... he guessed it was from Mo, before I even told him...) I asked him how he had guessed it was from Auntie Mo, and he said "She's the one who gives me toys."

So there you go...

Also included in the package were photos from our trip to Belfast. Here we are with Mo and Geoff's chickens.
